From ceramic heating to induction atomization platform
The biggest upgrade of VEEV inPrime comes from the underlying atomization technology.
According to PMI’s official introduction, VEEV inPrime adopts the new AdvanceVape Induction System ™. Reduce burnt taste and further enhance flavor expression through induction atomization technology. In conjunction with this new platform, PMI has simultaneously redesigned the VEEV inPrime dedicated pod and e-liquid formula to form a complete new generation product ecosystem.
Compared to the Compact Ceramic technology previously used by VEEV One. VEEV inPrime is not a simple upgrade, but is built on a brand new induction atomization platform.
Simultaneous upgrade of pods, interaction, and product experience
In addition to the underlying technology, VEEV inPrime has also comprehensively upgraded the product experience.
Official information shows that the new device supports Responsible Draw ™ Responsive suction with added Sensorial Feedback tactile feedback function, which can indicate the charging status of the user’s device and the timing of pod replacement through slight vibration. The device also retains the low e-liquid detection function and adopts a semi transparent suction nozzle design for easy observation of the pod status.
The VEEV inPrime body is made of approximately 75% recycled aluminum and supports fast charging within 40 minutes. According to official information, each pod can provide up to 1400 puffs of experience (which may vary depending on the market and product specifications), and is only compatible with VEEV inPrime pods, not VEEV One pods.

European market launches phased listing
According to IQOS official websites in various countries, VEEV inPrime has launched commercial promotion in the European market from May to June 2026.
Among them, Estonia announced the product launch in May 2026; Greece officially released its product introduction on June 8th; Subsequently, the UK has launched sales on the IQOS official website and some professional electronic cigarette retail channels; Italy has also launched a product support and usage guide page, showing that PMI is adopting a phased strategy to promote the commercial layout of VEEV inPrime in the European market.

Observation from an industrial perspective
The launch of VEEV inPrime not only signifies the launch of a new device, but also reflects the further evolution of PMI’s smoke-free product technology roadmap.
IQOS ILUMA adopts Smartcore Induction System ™. Since then, induction technology has become an important technical foundation for PMI heating non combustible products. VEEV inPrime introduces AdvanceVape Induction System this time ™, This means that PMI is expanding its sensing technology platform for the first time to a closed vape product line, not just limited to heated tobacco products.
At the same time, VEEV inPrime is not limited to hardware upgrades, but has synchronously restructured the pod, e-liquid formula, and interactive experience, forming a complete product system with the new platform as the core. For the mature vape market, system upgrades driven by underlying technology platforms are gradually replacing simply increasing battery life or number of puffs, becoming an important direction for international brands to build long-term competitiveness.
